A dash of unique glamour, a splash of creativity and three talented Italian designers are what makes up the Raris recipe for amazing handcrafted couture jewellery.

Cristina Spinella, Raffaella Calabrese and Stefano Ricci have come together and each brought to the table their studies in Jewellery Design, Marketing and Architecture. They have individually worked with some of the most prestigious jewellery design studios throughout their careers and international brands including Swarovski, Asprey, Smolensk Diamonds and Seiko.

Now working from their Rome based studio, Raris create unique jewels by from gold plated brass with glass beads, semiprecious gems, freshwater pearls, leather and rubber. They offer their work in Italy through selected jewellery boutiques and another handful throughout Europe. Within the last few years, Raris have built up quite a prestigious name for themselves in the UK, been involved in many London fashion events and gained much media attention. 

Naturally, some of their pieces caught out eye and we here at Fourth Crusade sought out to get a piece of the Raris collection too.

We managed to get a hold of Cristina and arranged a meeting in their Northern Rome studio, were greeted by her most faithful yapping friends, Nino and Rocco and the rest is history.
