Unique, inscribed posy rings and jewellery have existed since the Egyptian dynasties. Often featuring prayers and stories, unique rings were worn as a symbol of status and wealth.David Loepp and Yutaka Nagai inscribe the verse on each ring as done so by the original artist. Each ring is sterling silver with a matte finish enhancing the incised black patina and is presented with a parchment copy of the original manuscript.
Directly from a collection of love poems within the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament) and traditionally attributed to Solomon. For the romantics, this Italian inscription on the ring is from Chapter 4 and translates as “You have ravished me with just one glace of your eyes”.
